Privacy Policy

Castle Night (the "Game") values your privacy and handles only the minimum information it needs. This policy explains what information the Game uses, how it uses it, and how it is protected.
1. When you are not signed in
Your game progress (Lord, generals, territory, resources, etc.) is stored only in your browser's storage (localStorage) and is not sent to the Game operator's servers. If you clear your browser's site data, your progress is deleted along with it.
2. When you sign in with a Google account
If you choose to sign in with a Google account, we store the following information so that you can continue playing even after switching devices.
- The email address and name of your Google account (the basic profile provided by Google)
- Your game save data and stage result records (wins and losses, the Lord and generals you chose, etc.)
This information is kept in Supabase (a database and authentication service) and is not used for any purpose other than carrying over your game records. You may sign out at any time, and if you request deletion of your account and records, we will delete them without delay.
3. Advertising (Google AdSense)
The Game displays Google AdSense ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. For more information, see Google's advertising policies.
4. Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)
To improve the Game, we may use Google Analytics to collect statistics such as the number of visits, time spent, and device type. These statistics are handled in a form that does not identify individuals. You can prevent this collection with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Retention and deletion
Sign-in records are kept until you request deletion or the service ends, after which they are erased by a method that makes them unrecoverable.
6. Children's privacy
The Game does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 14. Children under 14 should not use the sign-in feature.
