Recommended Teams

Steady start — Seorin · Haerang · Mujin. Seorin cuts the damage you take, Mujin heals, and Haerang pierces whole lines of enemies. You'll have this team just by following the story.

Tower defense — Seokdam · Yeonhwa · Dugeun. All three are Archers, so they get the formation bonus (+15%), and together they boost tower fire rate, range and attack all at once. An especially good fit for the Engineer Dogyeong.

Cavalry breakthrough — Ganghwi · Cheonmu · Wolsa. All three are Cavalry, so they get the formation bonus, and they make short work of Heukcheol Archers and archer captains. Pairs well with the Cavalier Hangyeol.

Counter the captain. Bring Spearmen against cavalry captains (Heukcheol Warlord, Bingnang, Heukpyo, the Overlord), Cavalry against archer captains (Seolgung, Haegwi, Heuksi), and Archers against spear captains (Cheolgyeon, Dochung, Maseok, Yeomcheol, Ogeol).

To learn how to raise your generals, see the Strategy Guide; for enemy captains, see the Heukcheol Army Codex.
